Seit der Entdeckung von Mutationen im ARID1B-Gen, einem Bestandteil des BAF-Chromatin-Remodellierungskomplexes, als Hauptursache des Syndroms haben sich unsere Kenntnisse \u00fcber Diagnose, Krankheitsverlauf und Behandlung erheblich verbessert.
