{"id":548,"date":"2021-11-25T15:35:00","date_gmt":"2021-11-25T14:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ern-ithaca.eu\/?post_type=news&#038;p=548"},"modified":"2022-04-12T12:06:20","modified_gmt":"2022-04-12T10:06:20","slug":"ej-prd-call-for-funding-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/ern-ithaca.eu\/es\/events-news\/news\/ej-prd-call-for-funding-opportunity\/","title":{"rendered":"EJP RD: Call for funding opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Update: the call is now closed. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We would like to share this<strong>\u00a0call for a grant opportunity<\/strong>\u00a0we have just received from the\u00a0<strong>EJP RD<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>DDX3X pathogenic or likely pathogenic variations<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;are responsible for intellectual disabilities in women, (also named Snijders Blok type of X-linked syndromic intellectual developmental disorder (MRXSSB); orphanet: 457260, OMIM: 300958) and more frequently in man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the impulse of the American and French family associations, we wish to build a European consortium and apply to the EJP-RD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>If you are an expert in DDX3X related pathology or you follow people with DDX3X, we would be delighted to count you among our partners<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will have a special focus on partners from Eastern Europe, which is a plus to apply to EJP RD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our wish is to develop a European consortium in relation with associations and experts from the USA in order to better understand, describe and impulse the research around this rare disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For your information, the European conference about DDX3X will be held&nbsp;in Paris in september 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you wish to participate as a co-applicant in the EJP RD,<strong>&nbsp;please contact&nbsp;Delphine MARTIN at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:ddx3x.xtraordinaire@gmail.com\">ddx3x.xtraordinaire@gmail.com<\/a>&nbsp;and to Chelsey McCarthy at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:chelsey@ddx3x.org\">chelsey@ddx3x.org<\/a>&nbsp; before the&nbsp;deadline of 30 November 2021.<\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Update: the call is now closed.
