{"id":9328,"date":"2026-03-12T11:30:50","date_gmt":"2026-03-12T10:30:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ern-ithaca.eu\/?post_type=news&#038;p=9328"},"modified":"2026-04-02T16:57:21","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T14:57:21","slug":"dysmorphology-summer-2026","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/ern-ithaca.eu\/es\/events-news\/news\/dysmorphology-summer-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Dismorfolog\u00eda, verano de 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are pleased to announce the 2026 international&nbsp;<strong>\u201cDysmorphology Summer\u201d<\/strong>, which will take place on August 20\u201322, 2026 in Palanga, Lithuania.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This annual meeting&nbsp;has deep traditions of&nbsp;bringing&nbsp;together clinical geneticists, medical geneticists, neonatologists, and other specialists working with rare diseases and&nbsp;syndromology.&nbsp;Participants review <strong>challenging diagnostic&nbsp;dilemmas,<\/strong> <strong>and&nbsp;explore the latest advances in&nbsp;diagnostic and treatment possibilities in an open and friendly atmosphere.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;10th&nbsp;annual Dysmorphology Summer in 2024 gathered experts from&nbsp;Baltic states and other European countries such as Belgium, France,&nbsp;Slovenia&nbsp;and Germany.&nbsp;The 2026 conference aims to further strengthen international collaboration. As in previous years, we will welcome lecturers and participants from all over Europe in Palanga.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Palanga, Lithuania\u2019s most beloved seaside resort (<a href=\"https:\/\/curioustravelbug.com\/palanga-lithuania-things-to-do\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/curioustravelbug.com\/palanga-lithuania-things-to-do\/<\/a>;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/Tourism-g274950-Palanga_Klaipeda_County-Vacations.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/Tourism-g274950-Palanga_Klaipeda_County-Vacations.html<\/a>), offers an inspiring setting for academic dialogue and professional networking. Located on the Baltic Sea coast, the city is known for its long sandy beaches, pine forests, and relaxed atmosphere! It is&nbsp;ideal for thoughtful discussions&nbsp;and informal conversations beyond lecture halls.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We encourage you to participate&nbsp;and present a rare or challenging clinical case, an undiagnosed patient, or another relevant topic.&nbsp;The scientific program is still being&nbsp;finalized&nbsp;and&nbsp;remains&nbsp;open for&nbsp;additional&nbsp;contributions&nbsp;<strong>until 31 of May,&nbsp;2026<\/strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;You can send your abstract to <a href=\"mailto:genetika.konferencijos@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>genetika.konferencijos@gmail.com<\/strong><\/a> before that date for submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The registration fee is \u202f<strong>85 EUR<\/strong>. The fee includes participation in all scientific sessions,&nbsp;coffee&nbsp;and lunch&nbsp;breaks. Please note&nbsp;closing&nbsp;dinner&nbsp;is not included in the registration fee and requires separate registration.
