On behalf of the organizers, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the First Global and Fifth International Symposium Rare Diseases Day 2025<\/strong> \u201e More than you can imagine \u2013 more than you can dream of!\u201d organized on the occasion of the Rare Disease Day by Regional Specialized Children\u2019s Hospital in Olsztyn and the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn under the auspices of EURORDIS (rarediseaseday.org). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Symposium will be dedicated to the rare neurodevelopmental and neurometabolic disorders<\/strong> manifested by brain malformations, paroxysmal events and sleep disorders. Among the invited speakers are representatives of centers associated with European Reference Networks <\/strong>– ERN-EpiCare, ERN-RND and ERN-ITHACA, as well as the International Consortium for Research on Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (IAHCRC). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agenda will also features representatives of patients<\/strong> with alternating hemiplegia of childhood and Friedreich ataxia with their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
