On April 20th – 21th 2023, the ERN ITHACA is organizing a meeting in Amsterdam with the aim of bringing together a broad professional audience for a multidisciplinary view on ‘rare genetics neurodevelopmental disorders’.

This workshop is financially supported with funds from the EU, therefore there is no registration fee. The program will consist of plenary & parallel sessions and panel discussions. Part of the speakers are invited; the other part is based on abstract selection. We are aiming for 250 participants sharing their perspective from different disciplines such as geneticists, pediatricians, neurologists, psychiatrists and all other specialists involved in care and scientist in basic and translational research involving patients with neurodevelopmental disorders.

The sessions will cover the following themes:

  1. applied and emerging therapies;
  2. Data collection, database, use of AI
  3. profound and multiple learning disabilities;
  4. mechanisms of disease, model systems & translational pre-clinical work;
  5. ethical, legal, and  Psycho-social aspects;
  6. genes and pathways

A call for abstracts was launched on October 12 and closed on November 30.

Abstracts review will be double blinded. Notifications about the outcome of the abstract assessment will be sent to all candidates early February.
