ERN Exchange Program
The ERN Exchange Program was launched by the European Commission to share knowledge and stimulate collaborations between healthcare professionals within and across the ERNs.
The aim of this project was to harmonize knowledge in a specitif field and reduce gaps in expertise by allowing healhcare professionnal, whether doctors or nurses, psychologists, whether juniors trainees or senior experts, coming from an ERN center, to visit another ERN hospital. The basic idea is to transmit expert knowledge either by experts visiting other sites or by on-site training of junior professionals at more experienced ITHACA’s centers.
The program is now terminated, and allowed for over 50 training visits to be organised and funded by the ERN.
